Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Sewielam

I had a outpatient procedure done by this dr that left additional nerve damage and left me in severe pain. I could barely walk for 2 months. When I went back for post care, he wouldn’t treat me. I had to go outside of Kelsey for help. There are good docs at Kelsey, not this one!

My condition will never get better, Dr. Sewielam understands what to do to make my life as pain free as possible.

He is always in a hurry like he is gonna miss his fly, never let the "numbing cream" time to work and when he applies it does it really rough and when he wipes off too... he is rough and rude and careless about what or how u feel when gives u the injections....Kelsey get rid of him and fine a doctor with soul and compassion for his patiens....

Dr Sewielam has been my Pain Medizine Doctor since 2006 I thank God all the time for had sending me to Dr Sewielam. He takes each patient very seriously and does everything in his power to help us. He goes above and beyond to help you . I’m so greatful .... He is strict but he has to be because of all the prescription and procedures ... It is not easy for a Doctor or Patient. I always ask him , how he has so much compassion and always smiles and just tries everything in his power to help . I would not be alive today if it wouldn’t be for Dr Sewielam. He keeps me motivated not to give up . Being in pain all day long every day is difficult and Dr Sewielam understand the Patient and is always there when you need him . Thank you Dr Sewielam

I saw Dr. Sewielam at Kelsey Seybold for an epidural injection in my back for pain control. He said he was giving me "numbing medicine" before the epidural. He did not give it time to work, he injected the epidural right after the "numbing medication". I felt excruciating pain in my lower back and all the way down to my toes on the left side. I would not have treated an animal like that. I have had epidurals in the past and never in my life felt pain like that. I am in constant pain now with no relief. Think long and hard before you let this man touch you.

I have been a patient with Dr Sewielam for almost 11 years and thank God for him. Dr Sewielam has kept me from not giving up. I was diagnosed with CRPS by Dr Sewielam the first time I saw him and he ordered a special test to confirm the diagnosis. The test came out exactly how he said, CRPS.. I have never thought I would live like that always in pain 24/7...Through the caring and knowledgeable care from Dr Sewielam and the nurses I haven't given up. Its not easy to live in pain and have to take medicine. You have to change your entire lifestyle, and what is most important, you have to listen to your Dr. Dr Sewielam has not one time, not taking care of me.,he has gone above and beyond and is keep doing everything in his power to help me. There is no cure, but if you have a Dr WHO CARES AND UNDERSTAND, things get easier. I understand people who start pain management have sometimes a hard time to understand that there life has been changed, but if you listen to Dr Sewielam you will… get through it. And his nurses are always there when i call them. Sometimes it takes a call back because they do see patients and it can get busy. But when im really bad i have an appointment the same day or next. Also you have to realize, that when you are on Pain Medication you have to fight every day and have to be responsible. It takes time to learn to deal with the pain and to deal with medication.... Like i mentioned already, if someone is in pain, see Dr Sewielam and do step by step what he tells you. You will be able to learn to deal with it and he is always there for you. I have seen Sewielam and Pham. He is a walking god-mode complex, Pham acts like she cares, she is not as bad as him. It baffles me how Kelsey allows this to take place. I do not recommend this unprofessional non-empathetic md. Go elsewhere.

I agree with other reviews about his bedside manner. If you try to explain your condition to him, he would say I know more and I am a teacher and if you don't like what I say find another doctor! I will never see him again! I spent $35 for 2 mins of his time to be so rude and arrogant!

Doctor sewielam is a great doctor I have been with him for severe back pain for 2 years. I work in the construction field so it puts a lot of pressure on my back and doctor sewielam made me a brand new person allowing my to proceed with my job and get even better at it

Experience is over all positive. I have been with Dr. Sewielam for one year now and have no plans to change doctors. I can understand what other reviews saying about refill difficulties but I have also been dealing with pain doctors for years and I know what they experience with some drug addicts who make up all sort of excuses to get their hands on prescription drugs
