Dr. Shakoor always asks about my general wellbeing and follow through with my Primary physician. He cares about all of my health and well being. I never feel that he has compartmentalized me as a "heart patient". It is a wonderful feeling to know that I am a whole person and not a list of cardiac symptoms.

Was experiencing some chest pain, and scheduled my appointment consultation with Chandler Cardiology Associates. They did EKG and had me over for 5 min consultation with doctor Ahtisham Shakoor. In those 5 min I heard story about what does it mean to have panic attack - and was really confused on what he was trying to tell - but reading between lines I guess he didn't see anything wrong from EKG and immediately assumed that I was scared and panicking.I guess when it comes to my heart I would rather "panic" then just assume it's nothing... anyway - i had to write a review on this doctor, and just share my own short experience with doctor and while I don't question his skills and knowledge - I think that his abilities to talk to his patients are zero. Also another reason why I am writing this review is the actual cost of consultation, that I just found out when bill was mailed. While cost for EKG test was $34, cost of this nonsense and totally unprofessional 5 min consultation was… $285.Based on this experience I think I would expect little bit more professionalism from someone who I want to trust with my heart.`
