Dr. Aijaz Ahmed

He saved my life by doing a complicated procedure that most of the doctors would avoid for lack of skills/confidence. And in addition to that, he has a very pleasant bed side manners - a rare quality. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ahmed is knowledgeable and competent. He thoroughly understands the liver and nearby organs. He's caring, listens carefully, and has a great staff. They fought with my tight-fisted insurance company to get the expensive medication I needed, while refusing to take no for an answer. I was completely cured of a dangerous liver disease. Dr. Ahmed is the best!

I found Dr. Ahmed very nice, easy to talk to, and takes time to listen. He allowed me to make choices and presented the options. My medical problem was cleared. Dr. Ahmed also reviewed my medications prescribed by other physicians and alerted me regarding meds I should not have been taking due to my condition. His nurse is very knowledgable and helpful. He is very busy with his main practice in Palo Alto and going to central coast Ca to see patients. His receptionist calls you back after you leave a message because the office is only open when he is in town. This is why I rated ease of appointment 2 stars.

treats patients like numbers. little to zero follow up with patient. will enter false information in file to protect himself and allows staff to do the same. not trustworthy.Follow up letters do not represent what actually happened during visit or treatment always get copies of his follow up letters and if necessary challence his false statements . He is study/clinicaltrial /corporate/politically oriented. seemingly not truly interested in patients outcome but rather what the treatment or lack of treatment fron a study/trial did . will falsify results
