Dr. Aijaz Turk, MD

Dr. Turk was awesome. Went over process and answer lots of question in understanding way.

Dr. Turk treated me with a level of disrespect and disregard that was astonishing. Most often I scheduled with the PA. When forced to see Dr. Turk, I found him to be arrogant and condescending yet void of treatment options for my very serious and previously diagnosed condition. Precious time was wasted as I attempted to navigate between this rude man and his rude office staff. No practical suggestions for living with my incurable disease evolved. During my final office visit, Dr. Turk actually rose from his seat and shouted at me. It was frightening!

I had an appointment and a procedure scheduled. A scheduler decided to make a decision for me, the patient, and cancelled my appointment without any feedback from me. When I called to find out who and why, the staff was rude and talked down to me. I had heard from other previous patients that the doctor and the staff are rude and condescending but wanted to make my own judgement. They were right. I cancelled the procedure. Don't just run away from this office, run away screaming! Use Dr. DeRoo in Wyoming, MI. He has treated my wife with the utmost of respect and patience.

I have been a patient for almost 13 years now and have nothing but positive things to say about him. As in any profession where you at working with people, not everyone will be a perfect fit.

I agree with the sentiments in every bad review here. My second and last visit with Dr. Turk was terrible. I would ask basic questions about what he was suggesting or describing and he would rudely repeat his order without clarification, despite multiple attempts. I found him to be impatient, argumentative, dismissive, etc. I don't normally write reviews, but I'm hoping to spare a future patient the indignity of what I, and others, have experienced.

He was no help at all and made abusive snap personal judgments. By my third appointment I told him I was considering going elsewhere to which he declared that "they" would not find anything. When I asked why he thought this, he stated because HE had examined me. They found a half inch gallstone and an unrelated cancer. BTW, 15 minutes into my first appointment, he declared that I needed to work when he had no idea whatsoever who I take care of or what I do in and from my home. When I later confronted him about this, he claimed ignorance. His notes are likewise carefully crafted to omit patient provided information and anything that could hold him accountable. Looking back, I should have not given him the benefit of the doubt after the first appointment.

Unfocused and unprofessional.

Makes me feel like an idiot for coming to see him. Can't stand his bedside manner and he just doesn't care

Dr. Turk came into my room on my first and only visit to see him and chastised me about how rich people, which I am not, never think about their health until it's too late. After my colonoscopy he told me that I had Crohns and wanted to start me on a biologic medication which I told him I wanted to avoid and try something else first. He got angry because I dared to (his words) think I knew better than he did on how to treat my issue. Told me there was nothing he could do for me and stormed out. I have not see him since.
