Dr. Aileen Paula Utley, PhD

I took a psychological evaluation. I wanted to be honest and not just breeze through it giving the "right" answers... A few of my answers were the names of God in Hebrew. Jehovah Tsikednu, Jehovah Rapha, etc. Dr. Utley testified that I was rambling in an unintelligible language and that she had no idea what I was talking about. She diagnosed me with Schizotypal personality disorder. People with STPD have distorted views of reality, superstitions and unusual behaviors. I was a salaried executive at the time and was over 14 buildings and 17 associates. I had a budget of over 3 million dollars and spearheaded nationally adopted policies and best practices. She has not a clue one how to diagnose anything. She needs to be cultured and apparently go to church. Not one time did she ask for an explanation or reason. She just assumed she was more intelligent than I. They ended up taking my parental rights... It's still surreal to me how the system failed and how she still has a license.

Dr. Utley was the court appointed evaluator and through extensive testing determined that my son would be much safer and better off being raised by me, his dad. That probably saved his life. He also went to her for therapy, so I know Dr. Utley well. This was many years ago and he has turned out to be a wonderful brilliant man. His mom suffered and still suffers from multiple mental health illnesses. She never got over this brave doctor's recommendation, and I have no doubt that she is behind most of these negative comments here as they sound identical to the ones she tried unsucessfully in court. Let me be clear: Dr. Utley is the furthest person to "sell herself to the highest bidder" as was indicated by my sons mom's reviews here. Dr. Utley has very high ethical and moral standards. Other suggestions that shes disorganized and looses tests is absolutely false, and couldnt be further from the truth. Again, this is the kind of false allegations my son's mom attempted in court. On the… contrary, I think Dr. Utley should be given a medal of valor for bravery. She has risked it all for the protection of innocent children, knowing that she will be vulnerable to vengeful parents that lost custody and free rein to abuse their children. My review will be very simple. Aileen Utley can be bought by the highest bidder. She gets one star simply because I cannot rate her as ‘zero’.

She scheduled multiple people for the same appt. time in error. Missed scheduled appts. because she 'forgot' to write them down. Failed to provide tests results and records as subpoenaed. Opined a diagnosis that wasn't supported by fact. Misrepresented or excluded pertinent information in her reports and in testimony. Was unaware she could not utilize anonymous sources, yet did so in an official report. I was sorely disappointed by her lack of professionalism and in her dishonesty. She may have once been a respected professional, but she no longer is such. Her 'expert opinion' can literally be bought by the highest bidder. Luckily, other professionals are becoming aware.

My son saw her for years. She is excellent. I think the only reason she has a low rating here is because one particular unfit parent I know lost her child due to testimony Dr. Utley had to give, and that unfit parent then went on an internet rampage to hurt Dr. Utley's ratings.
