Aimee Bearden, FNP-C, FMACP

Aimee Bearden, FNP-C, FMACP is a board certified nurse practitioner passionate about helping women get back to a state of health where they can enjoy life again. Practicing in the Westminster, CO area, she brings over seven years of experience as a nurse practitioner to the table. 

Aimee founded Balance and Bloom Functional Medicine after working in the conventional health setting for over 10 years, where she saw how interventions by conventional healthcare standards weren’t always meeting the needs for the actual health and wellbeing of most patients (meaning looking, feeling, and functioning at a state that one would describe as healthy). She especially saw many women being dismissed and being told “you’re fine. It’s probably just in your head” and she could not stand the fact that she didn’t have a solution for them. 

With advanced and ongoing education in functional medicine and hormone therapy, she is now able to provide her patients with a more holistic …approach and more options. She no longer feels like she is perpetuating sick care with “band aid” medications as is often done in the traditional, insurance based health care system, where patients only see their provider for 25 minutes max.
