Dr. Aiying Angie Xiao, MD

Dr. Xiao is “nice” in an antiquated way. She comes off as soft spoken and nice, but often is judgmental in response to really anything unless you’re overly positive and asymptomatic. What psychiatrist is surprised her patients with depression and anxiety are sad, not sleeping well, having suicidal thoughts, or any totally standard symptom. I’m not sure if she keeps up to date with research or training. She’s required to for her license but it seems like talking to a psychiatrist several decades ago when you talk to her versus 2022. She doesn’t seem to know things about current mental health methods that the average informed patient would know. I’m excited to have a new provider who is well versed in current mental health treatment. I hope she decides to get more CEUs and re-evaluates her bedside manner & patient interactions.

Completely ignored my diagnosis and did nothing to help me. No medications, suggestions or anything.
