Dr. Ajay Harendra Bisht, MD

He was my doctor for some years and I was always pleased. He had my blood checked regularly and always came back, anemic. Finally I asked him about it and he yelled at me,told me, "You aren't anemic so shut up". I was so hurt I just turned around and left. Another doctor told me about Dr. Tumalla, an oncologist, so I made an appt. When he did extensive blood work on me, turns out I was so anemic I had to have a blood transfusion and also had cancer. It is Multiple Myeloma. I've been going every week for chemo for over 2 years now and haven't been in his office since.Maybe if he had called and apologized...but no. I liked him too and it's a real shame this happened.

Today was my first visit with the doctor. I was amazed that he spent AN HOUR with me while reviewing my records and trying to determine the best course of action. I think doctors often lose their sense of purpose after the first few years of practice….not this guy! I’m so grateful REAL doctors still exist!

Was just fine for awhile. Had me flagged two years ago without me knowing that I was flagged, and could no longer see him. Was told by the staff for 2 years that it was due to only seeing older patients, to recently find out that he has been seeing younger patients for awhile now. I was always respectful. Was it my hair? The way I Could have at least been given a notice (as required), and sought out a new primary care physician,...rather than thinking for a couple years in vain that he was still my PCP. Two years wasted that I cannot get back regarding my specialized care. I was always clean, respectful, and kind, as was he. But the level of professionalism Dr. Bisht has is obviously severely lacking. Would hate to see you taken off his list as well, without any notice or forewarning, "just because." So be careful.

Dr. Bisht is an amazing doctor and is passionate about his love for medicine. Not only he spends time with his patients, but he always explains the condition or treatment modality. He is a phenomenal teacher as well for upcoming medical professionals.

Dr. Bisht is a very caring Dr., he shows compassion and very concerned of your health and well being, I would tell anyone who is looking for a very thorough Dr., choose Dr. Bisht.

He's caring and is great to explain things to. He's been my doctor for six years now.

Dr. Bisht is a great Doctor who doesn't push medicine on you if you do not want it. He is always nice and polite and a good listener. I am an Agent and have recommended him to a lot of my clients.

I have brought both family and friends to Dr. Bisht. In my opinion He is one of the most thorough and dedicated Doctors in lake county. Dr. Bisht goes above and beyond to ensure his patients get what they need.

When I first started to go to Dr. Bisht a couple years ago his staff left alot to be desired but I continued on with Dr. Bisht because he is an excellant doctor. His office staff has now been replaced with a wonderful staff. The best that I have come across. You need to solve a problem they are there for you. Thank you Dr. Bisht for your wonderful staff.
