Welcome! I'm Ajay Patel, your dedicated physician assistant with a passion for providing comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. With over two decades of experience in emergency medicine and urgent care, I have honed my skills in a variety of settings, from one of the busiest ERs in Central Florida to my current role at Er Care- Walkin Clinic and Medspa center of East Orlando. I offer services in primary care. Urgent/Emergency Care, Weight loss management and Mental health. My goal is always to ensure you feel heard, cared for, and confident in the treatment you receive.My journey in healthcare began with a solid foundation in biology, graduating cum laude from Seton Hall University in 1999 followed by a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant with honors from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001. Since then, I've been committed to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge and practice. This dedication is reflected in my continuous education …and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.Beyond clinical work, I believe in contributing to the growth and improvement of our healthcare community. As a co-chair on an allied health committee and an administrative liaison overseeing other providers, I work towards enhancing the quality of care we deliver as a team.I am also deeply involved with professional organizations such as the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (SEMPA), American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
