Dr. Ajay Singh, MD

Not a great experience to be honest. I’ve been seeming him for a couple years and he isn’t particularly sympathetic or supportive. I kinda feel like I’m being interrogated every time and he insists we meet up every 2 months despite the fact nothing has changed.

Worst psychiatrist I have ever seen. He does not listen to any of your concerns about medications and their side effects, and will literally stop listening to you mid sentence. He consistently dismisses the fact that I had an eating disorder and continues to prescribe medications that will make me gain weight, therefore triggering it. He is a mental health professional and should be cognizant of the impact he has on people's mental health, however he has no real regard for it.

When you need a medication refill you call in but they don’t tell the doctor so you call in over and over out of the medicine the doctor told you to take. They cancel appts without discussion. If you talk to the staff about any of this they roll their eyes at each other. The billing office won’t return ur calls when they make a mistake and they are on a different time zone. It’s really a terrible support staff situation which makes the practice awful despite what one may think of the doctors there.

Average care, not very current on adjunct treatments. His office staff is really terrible and go out of their way to be unhelpful.

Good for meds management. Gives some practical ideas for managing ADD. Not someone to help resolve personal issues.

To be clear, Dr. Singh does not provide therapy other than prescribing and monitoring medication. Frankly, this is a service you can receive through your primary care physician. I wish I had been made aware of this detail when I made my initial appointment with him and waited close to a month to see him. I feel as though I wasted time and money and now I am back to the drawing board in trying to establish effective psychiatric care.
