Dr. Ajay Sood, MD

Dr. Sood is a wonderful down to earth Doctor Who truly cares about his patients. He spends a lot of time trying to get to the root I'm a problem and fixing it. Is very easy to get and stay in contact with and does a great job of checking in with you. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Sood was the only doc who was able to diagnose me correctly. The thing about mental illness is that it is not easy to diagnose, lots of meds to find the right combination to find the ones that make you stable. I am stable because of his work and patience with me. But, remember, he is a psychiatrist, not a therapist. HUGE difference. His job is to diagnose and figure out meds. A therapist is who you TALK to. You cannot have one without the other.

For those of you complaining of him prescribing meds. that's what psychiatrists do, for behavioral problems you need to see counseling as well. Meds. and counseling is the ONLY way to succeed in getting behavioral issues under control. Counseling teaches the individual how to live with the issues at hand and meds are for helping the symptoms. For instance, depression: counseling gets to the root of the cause, is itinherated? Chemical imbalance? Life experiences? Psychiatrists prescribe meds for the symptoms, crying, fatigue, unsure feelings. Not all meds work the same for every person, it's a process, sometimes a long process because some meds take weeks before the individual starts to feel better. You won't get therapy from a psychiatrist, that is why counseling + psychiatric help works best. Honestly I think Dr. Sood is fantastic, and I love my counselor, Tina Anderson. I hope this helps those who were disappointed with their experiences.

This "DR" is as lazy as it gets. I sent my young college student to him. He gave him medicine, he said come back in two weeks and then referred him to someone next city over. He is had no interest in speaking to my son to talk about his stress and anxiety with school. Do not bother..he spends more time making sure he is paid then actually dealing with the patient.

He is very smart and a wonderful doctor. Gives great advice.

What would you diagnose Kris Klinzing's son with?? You know him and you know what he does. And you know he doesn't know me "doctor." He just PRETENDS to know me after breaking into five of my homes, relocating 547 miles to live closer to me, poison me with lead, potassium and iron AND CONTINUES TO DO SO WHILE I'M PREGNANT. THIS IS YOUR WORK, SOOD AND I'M GOING TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS IT WHEREVER YOU OR KRIS KLINZING GO. EVERYWHERE. It's VERY CLEAR HE HAS THE MENTAL ILLNESS. ONLY ONE KIND OF PERSON HARMS A PREGNANT WOMAN. This is YOUR DOING.

Dr. Sood is very professional and intelligent. I have a lot of trust and respect him very much.

Called twice and have not received a return phone call. The receptionist stated both days that he was in the office. Doctor seems to only want to manage medication and not get to the problem of what is causing my child to react the way he does to the prescribed medication or how to teach him to deal with his anxiety.

Very comfortable with Dr. Sood. I am very impressed!
