Dr. Ajay Varanasi, MD

Dr. Varansi and his staff are amazing. I’m a traveling nurse and taking a new assignment out of state. I’m leaving this Sunday and Jillian did everything she could do to get me training for a 1st time user of an insulin pump. She also got me in to see Dr. V last minute before I leave Sunday. The PA Claudia and Dr. V always take their time with me and make sure I have all my questions answered. I highly recommend this endocrinology team!!

I typically see the PA, Claudia, at this office, but I've seen Dr. V as well. He's pretty quiet but polite. I really like the PA - very engaging, positive, straightforward. I just got diagnosed with Hashimotos and Claudia has an answer for every question I had (and there were a lot.) The MA's in the office are fantastic too. Taking off one star because on my first (morning) visit I was waiting for two hours past the appointment time to be seen and I was seriously late for work. With that said it's a very busy office. Since then I've scheduled late afternoon appointments and had no issues.

Disrespectful. After sitting on the floor in a very crowded waiting room waiting almost 45 minutes and filling out all the paperwork, the actual appointment was rushed through, the nurse never read any of the information given, the doctor came in the room did not sit down did not make eye contact did not make level I contact I should say he leaned against the wall crossed his arms and belted out my commands not even saying hello are you etc. etc. Then he rushed out of the office again didn’t explain anything at all the staff didn’t explain anything at all. Incredibly disappointed I don’t understand the good reviews of this doctor because of that is a common day in this clinic then that leaves me know how far doctors are finding a good doctor.

Gillian and Keisha are two of the rudest and most inefficient people I have ever had the misfortune to meet. This physician needs to read all the comments lambasting the rudeness and ineptitude of both of them. He is going to lose patients due to them.

The Dr. and staff are very attentive to your needs and take the time to be sure that you are comfortable and feel secure in their care. Dr. Varanasi is very respected in the community and I feel that my family is getting the best care possible.

I am very pleased with Dr.V. My A1C has gone from the high 9's to 6.2. Wow. Dr. V is very nice and listens to me. Not talk over me. He explains to me in great detail what I should be doing and let's me know that he is pleased with my progress. The front office staff is also amazing. Jillian and Teshia are always pleasant and works at the highest level of professionalism. I am so glad I was introduced to this office by one of my coworkers who is extremely happy with the office as well.

Always feel rushed. Poor bedside manner and tact.

If you are reading this review, please take in strong consideration choosing another MD. For years I struggled with Thyroid issues and had this Doctor dismiss my concerns. One day, I luckily got to see his covering MD. I was so amazed at the level of care I had gotten from just one visit. She went in detail about my concerns and ordered tests to help identify my issues. Only for me to come back and follow up with Dr. V and having him yet again dismiss me. He was very disrespectful! Being a healthcare professional myself, I would never sink to that level of disrespect. Even though most days I'm sick, I could never disregard and treat anyone the way I was treated today at my appointment. His customer service skills are limited, he rushes through his office visits and is very degrading. I urge anyone reading this review to reconsider. If you value your health, want to be treated with decency and respect this is NOT the Doctor for you. Take the extra time to find a Physician that will be… attentive to your concerns and handle matters promptly and work with you to help promote good health.

Dr Varanasi is very skilled - he is kind and understanding and treats my parents ver very well. His staff Jillian and Keishsa are amazing - kind - courteous and always thoughtful. They are precious. Go see this doc and amazing staff
