Dr. Ajay D. Wasan, MD, MD

After searching for a pain doctor for many years, I finally was connected with Dr. Wasan. Finding a pain doctor is often times coupled with anxiety and hopelessness, but finding Dr. Wasan who specializes in psychiatry, neurology, and pain saved my life. Look no further. He is a doctor you can trust in understanding mental and physical health in treatment. His nurses are the best as well. A place of comfort is a path to healing. Along with medicine and understanding.

He has no interest in anything in had to say after waiting two hours. He had an opinion before even discussing my case with me. Horrible rude and not up to date on pain management

Was referred to this pain dr by my neurosurgeon. Completely cut back my medicine and was not interested in hearing what I had to say about my history and chronic pain. He brought up spinal cord stimulation (which I have had previously) I had it taken out. As soon as I said I would not be getting anymore stimulators, his and his fellows attitude changed, they didn’t even schedule a follow up appointment. They have a hidden agenda, but actually listening to and treating patients pain is not one of them. D. Banks!

I rate everything about him and his staff as excellent. I am glad that I found him!

This Doctor and I use this term lightly is irresponsible with patient's health. STAY AWAY!!!!

This probably isn't the correct way to ask this question but I would be almost positive that I am not the only one wondering! I love the VITALS site but they should make such a feature! How does this same doctor go from having 14 outstanding reviews to having 2. Others that are really terrible? At 51 I have suffered from chronic pain since a very bad first car accident and a second at 31. I had a broken neck twice and numerous surgeries and lots of treatment! I have seen many different personalities but none that have varied in such degrees! Being that I am looking for a new pain doctor, this has made the process much harder! Either they are a jerk or not! That's easy! This is just crazy!

I've been dealing with extreme bi lateral shoulder pain caused by unrepairable R.Cuffs along with a bad back from years of heavy work and sports. I was previously with another Dr. for years but long story short ended up in Dr. Wasans office. Best thing that has happened to me in years. I've suffered and my family has suffered for many years due to chronic pain and he knew that within minutes. Understood this and in the short time I've seen him has been nothing short of amazing. Treated my wife and I with total respect from minute one and I've learned more in 4 visits from him than I knew in ten years. I can't express how thankful I am our paths have crossed. I have also read some of his work now and am very comfortable saying he's the real deal for sure.

I JUST WANT TO THANK DR. WASAN FOR SAVING MY LIFE.I HAD 4 SURGERIES ON MY BACK ,AND REMAINED IN CONSTANT PAIN.I BELIEVE I WAS DR.WASANS FIRST PATIENT AT THE PAIN CLINIC. ALONG WITH CHRONIC PAIN I WAS SUFFERING FROM PTSD AS RESULT OF Ã? CRITICAL INCIDENT INVOLVONG Ã? FIREARM. AFTER 10 YRS. OF BEING HIS PATIENT, HE IN MY OPINION IS WHAT ALL PAIN DOCTORS SHOULD STRIVE TO BE LIKE.HE WAS KIND,CARING,AND CONSIDERATE AT ALL TIMES.DR. WASAN GOOD LUCK IN YOUR NEW JOB.

Dr. Wasan is phenominal! I've seen other doctors that practice "psych 101" on their patients and Dr. Wasan is different. He is understanding, comprehensive and well versed in being able to help patients manage multiple conditions at once. Thrilled to have finally found a doctor that I'm happy with seeing!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wasan for almost a year and it is so refreshing as well as comforting to have a doctor who listens to you. He never dismisses anything I say and converses in a genuine manner. I am very thankful I have him as a physician for pain management.
