Dr. Vinayak cared for me in the ICU at Georgetown Medstar and is one of the most compassionate, brilliant, and understanding people involved during my inpatient care. He is an outstanding resource, and a excellent medical expert who moved me forward in a path towards healing and recovery. I am so impressed with this man he truly is an angel and is so humble at the bedside and understood every inch of my prognosis and without hesitation helped me get better each and every day during his attending. I am forever grateful that someone like this was put on my case, truly a miracle worker and so supportive to my family and medical path forward. Everyone should be lucky enough to have someone like Dr. Vinayak in their court pushing for them as they face tough challenges, he will help you get through, he is an exceptional person! 10 STARS for this Doctor!!!!

I am writing this on behalf of my husband. We were referred to Dr Vinayak for a consultation re: my husband’s pulmonary hypertension. We found him to be thorough with an excellent bedside manner despite being the ER doctor that week with many demands. He explained to us exactly what pulmonary hypertension is, in an understandable way. We will be conferring with him again after he has had an opportunity to review all the relevant records, tests and imaging. He and the staff of the pulmonary department could not have been more helpful, professional and kind. I have been a patient in the pulmonary department at Georgetown for 7 years and the pulmonary team is outstanding.
