I had couple of concerns about my health and she ignored them all with out any suggestions. I can say she was the most unfriendly doctor I ever had

Find a doctor in a private practice that is better. Just because she works at major hospitals does not make her a good doctor. She is rude and arrogant. She doesn't listen and doesn't want your daughter to talk to you about issues, as she says the doctor/patient relationship comes first. REALLY?

I have not ever felt so belittled by a physician. Oddly, for once I did not throughly research prior to my visit as she is the only pediatric gynecologist in San Diego. My child is a victim of a crime and needs follow up visits to assist her in development. Horribly enough I was not properly educated by the diagnosing MD four years prior when my daughter was diagnosed with lichen sclerosis, this Rady Children's MD told me not to worry and it would probably clear on its own and to wait until she was 8 or 9 to have her seen by a specialist. I am also a new graduate nurse with a speciality in geriatrics and hospice care and during clinical consulted with other pediatrians and my child's own who all advised do not be concerned. At the time of examination she developed discoloration/unusual growth HOWEVER, My victimized daughter was finally ready to see the gynecologist. This took months of preparation and therapist appointments. For those who may know this disease produces paper… thin skin and discoloration, wiping after urination and defacation is painful. For my daughter this is unfortunately on her vagina and anus. The MD in training was delicate and friendly. Dr. Weber came in demanding to know why I hadn't brought my daughter in sooner because now her "vagina is fusing to itself" all this said in a attitude in front of my daughter who was already scared to death with her bottom half naked and her most intimate body parts exposed. Dr. Weber now educated through brief conversation on my daughters history and knowing my daughters paper thin skin is delicate proceeded to roughly examine her pulling at her delicate vagina, my daughter in pain yelling "ouch it hurts" and Dr Weber just proceeds to belittle me continuing to examine her. My daughter now in tears, Dr Weber continued her rant of assuring I felt like the worst mother in the world for not bringing her in sooner. Providing my daughter with corticosteroid topical and advising to come back in a month then leaving. My daughter spent the next 4 days crying every time she went to the bathroom. I was so angry I could not even bring myself to call the MD to talk to her in fear that I would not be able to control myself for the hurt she brought on to my child not to mention the shame she experienced reliving her tragedy of victimization. That was a year ago and I still can not get my daughter back to be examined. THANKS ALOT DR WEBER FOR BEING SUCH A STELLAR PROFESSIONAL. YOU THOUGHT I WAS A HORRIBLE MOTHER WELL YOU GET THE D@$&!E MD AWARD.
