Dr. J treated my 90 yo. mother 9yrs ago, we were told that she would be ventilator dependent. We doubted what the doctor in her home town was telling us because she was alert, trying to talk in spite of her trach and being hooked up to the ventilator. We transferred her to Emory Mid town Specialty Hospital and she was placed under the care of Dr. J and others. He had her off the vent in no time. He was professional regardless if was 2am or 2pm, same demeanor, same pt. care. I don't see how the man did all that he was doing and doing it with a smile. He could write the book on bedside manners and professionalism....
