Dr. Akira Yamamoto, MD

Dr Yamamoto is the absolute best provider around! He cares about his patients and will sit with you as long as he has to in order to answer all your questions and concerns. If I could give him 10 stars I would!!

I really like him I wouldn't go to anyone else.He has a great bed side manner.And I feel completely comfortable with him he takes his time with you answers all your questions im heavy set and im not uncomfortable at all

Dr Yamamoto is the best doctors that I have come across in my 36 years and he is very attentive and willing to grow and learn in his practice.

Dr. Yamamoto has looked after me for a while now. I am pleased.with him staying on top of results and working with my other medical practices to make sure I get the right care, being proactive and fortunately not reactive so far.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rajan, who recently performed an aquablation and bladder stone removal procedure, at UCA for years. Three weeks into my recovery I started bleeding from my prostate, with clots forming in my bladder and I was unable to void so I went to the ER where I was catheterized and admitted. The next day Dr. Yamamoto came into my room and introduced himself. He had a very confident air about him and I trusted him immediately. After looking at my catheter output he explained that I would need a proceudure to remove the clots and courderize my prostate. He said he would do everything he could to get the OR that same day to perform the procedure. Four hours later I had the procedure and a week later so far everything is fine. You can tell that Dr. Yamamoto is a caring and skilled physician.

Without going into personal details, Dr Yamamoto needs more experience, in my opinion

We came to Dr. Yamamoto after my husband developed a urinary retention as a complication to hernia surgery, was advised to see his urologist by the hospital, but... his previous doctor was....well, not helpful at all to say the least. So we came to Dr. Yamamoto - he is AMAZING: professional, knowledgeable, knows what he is doing AND CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS! He checked my husbands prostate right away (which nobody even bothered to do at the previous office), said it was enlarged. Run a test to confirm it, explained in details what can be done. 4 days later my husband underwent the uri-lift procedure and a week later was back to his normal life. If not for Dr. Yamamoto, my husband would be still wearing catheter and suffering every day. The staff at the office is great as well - nice, professional, efficient, well-organized and caring.
