Dr. Akxay Patel, DO

Has worked with my complicated health issues with patience and compassion. Found issues with my medical records that needed attention. Is still pursuing other aspects of my medical history and striving to find some solutions. Glad he's joined this city's medical team . Took over a huge undertaking when he came here. Blessed to have him!

In December, 2022, I was expereincing a persistent cough and chest pain. Upon calling my primary care physician, I was informed that she was not available, but that I could speak to Dr. Akxay Patel within the same office. After discussing my symptons, he concluded that I should have a chest x-raay and within the hour he called and asked me to go to the local emergency room for multiple tests . The tests confirmed that I had pneumonia. Upon being released from the hospital, Dr. Patel continued to followup with me including telephone calls and virtual appointments. His conccern with my well being was impressive--especially considering that I was not even his patient. I highly recommned Dr. Akxay Pate.

I went to Dr. Akxay Patel with low expectations after visiting my previous primary care physician who had not been able to give me any answers for my symptoms. From the first interaction, I had with him, I was shocked. He is one of the most hardworking, devoted, and kind doctors I have ever met and I am currently still his patient today.

He may have had a bad day after seeing me, but he didn't come up with any solution and he seemed very short with me. He did spend a long time talking to me on my first visit, however he had a bad attitude towards me and I left the office thinking, "what a jerk." However, everyone has their bad days. Hopefully his mannerisms will improve!
