Dr. Alain Charles Corcos, MD

I was supposed to see another surgeon for my appointment, but she was doing emergency surgery. I appreciated my time with Dr. Corcos. He had a good bedside manner. Dr. Corcos offered to show me my CT scan, and when I took him up on the offer, he thoroughly reviewed areas of concern. He did not have to do this, as my appointment was for only one place where I need surgery. I came out of the appointment more informed, and for that I am grateful.

I can confidently say that I have never come in contact with a more unprofessional and disrespectful doctor. After a minor surgery, that Mr. Corcos had absolutely nothing to do with, I was obligated to have my post-surgery appointment with him since my actual surgeon could not make it. During the appointment, Mr. Corcos belittled me constantly and made multiple degrading comments while showing little interest in any of the issues I addressed. His pager went off while I was speaking and without saying anything he left the room and decided the appointment was over. When looking at my appointment summary I noticed that he referred to me as a "HE" several times. I am a woman.

He is a wonderful doctor/surgeon and human being. He cares about his patients and families and gives his all, gives more than his all to save lives and show compassion.
