Dr. Alain Joseph Taylon, MD

Dr. Taylon is a very smart man who knows what he is doing. He never once pressured me into doing something drastic with my thyroid like other dr's who are looking for a life long Pay check I mean patient.

I have seen Dr. Taylon for 19 years now. He is extremely intelligent and has managed my Hypothyroidism to where all my symptoms, except fatigue, are well under control. He has a dry demeanor and is matter of fact about issues, which I love. I don't want a doctor who is going to know I have a problem and sugar coat it. If you are overweight, you just are, and he will make no bones about it. He has always listened to all my concerns and addressed them to my satisfaction. My only complaint was having to drive to Omaha to see him, so I am super happy he has hours in Council Bluffs now.

Caring, thorough, and up-to-date on new ideas and thoughts and medications and treatments

I arrived early for my appointment with my pre-completed paperwork in hand. I waited 2 hours for my appointment and never saw the doctor. The receptionist was nice. The unattended children standing on the tables in the waiting room was surprising. The nurse was rude. Nothing I would expect from a professional office and certainly nothing I would refer to someone I care about.

Dr. Taylon was very rude and an insulted me about my weight. When I tried to share about my health concerns, he wouldnâ??t listen and seemed irritated. He seemed proud of being rude. It was strange.

He is always in a bad mood and grouchy.

I had to tell him what tests I wanted done and his attitude was horrible. I was so so sorry I went to him. Probably one of the worst Dr's I've seen. I can't believe anyone would keep this guy on their staff.

He was incredibly rude to me and my family. he claimed it was my fault that i have hypogylcemia. im not sure how i would be to blame for a condition when Im a college basketball athlete, in shape, and practice healthy diet. Also never followed up with me on my blood test result. in the market for a new diabetes specialist.

I have to admit, I became skeptical reading these reviews prior to my visit. I was 45 minutes from my appointment and considering canceling. I called my husband to voice my concern. He reminded me I have to judge for myself and not the words of strangers. Very true and I am glad I went through my appointment! The staff was very pleasant and took the time to listen to my concerns. Dr. Taylon was blunt and precise, he calls it as it is. I appreciate this. I would recommend the visit. Judge not the words of others but of your own personal experience.
