Dr. Alain Antoine Waked, MD

Dr. Alain Waked is one of the very best doctors I’ve ever encountered in my lifetime. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of cardiology and successfully performed the TAVR procedure on me recently after a couple of months of preparation and consultations. He is thorough and thoughtful. He makes the most difficult medical jargon understandable and is attentive to all questions posed. This is the kind of doctor who will be sought out— not only by hospitals around the world, but by patients everywhere. I feel so blessed to be able to call him my Cardiologist!

In 2013 I had a heart attack, after being rushed by ambulance to Bowling Green, Ky. Medical Center that was my first encounter with Dr. Walked. He continued treating me until his departure from B.G..I have nothing but praises about Dr. Walked. He was always caring and concerned at every Dr. visit. I feel I owe him for saving my life because he said he lost me 3 times during the procedure. You people in California are very blessed to have him. We want to express our happiness and gratitude in our association with Dr. Alain Waked. My wife had several doctors in the past tell her that she had an aortic murmur but that it was minor and posed no future problem. After extensive testing Dr. Waked found a serious blockage that needed immediate attention. After consulting with other cardiologists plus two thoracic surgeons plus more exams and an angiogram, surgery by Dr.Waked was performed and was completely successful. We are enjoying her new energy and general health thanks to Dr. Waked. He is kind, patient and happy to explain all plans and procedures. Thank you

Dr. Waked is a really good cardiologist. I was diagnosed with A-Fib years ago but there was no follow-up by my previous Dr. I went to Dr. Waked for a regular check-up and he did all the appropriate test to confirm the diagnosis only to find I did not have A-Fib at all. I am grateful that he is thorough in his examination and he is very easy to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone.

We not only greatly appreciate Dr. Waked's careful medical care, but also have enjoyed his friendliness and sense of humor! Since we are moving away, we will miss him!

I am still here in this old world because of this Doctor, and I think he is the best. we need more doctors like him.
