Dr.Amato is by far the best doctor I have had in my entire life Finally one that is respectful caring and understands my chronic pain love her!

Was told would not take my insurance because it was through the market place. Also refused to give me a referral that I needed to see my dermatologist for the skin cancer I have. I need a new one each year. So I had to see him as a cash pay. Then after that they called and said they could see me. When I went to see dr she was rude to me.

I was ready the "negative" reviews and feel I must interject! Dr Amato, along with her staff/nurse, is one of the nicest dr I have seen lately! On my first appt she stayed in the room listening to every "issue" I had until I was finished, NEVER acting like she was in a hurry or "restless" to leave!! Not only has she helped me with my medical issues, monitoring my new meds and BP until they were right, but helped my dad regulate his diabetes; helping him come off some of his insulin. I would highly recommend her for your medical needs, and I am VERY picky about my dr,.

I found her to be the most curious and intelligent doctor in my vast experience. She digs until she gets to the bottom of a complex problem. She communicates with the other specialist extremely well.She may not come across as warm and fuzzy, but it is because her mind never stops. She has thought of other possibilities and had her staff call me back on more than one occasion. I would rather have that than a doctor who appears to care, but hasn't a clue. Dr. Amato is excellent!
