Dr. Alaina J Garrie, DO

I think it was probably about 3 or 4 years ago (before Covid) when I chose Dr. Garrie for my elderly mother who had advanced Alzheimers and in a wheelchair from a stroke 10 years ago. Her previous MD had retired. I chose her based on her biography and video and her experience/expertise in Geriatric care. I had no idea that MD's such as Dr. Garrie existed - she spent the time needed to really know my mother and her condition, asked many questions to know her history and the people in her life. She took the time to know the members of the family and how we related to each other and my mother. She really seemed to care about my mother's well-being and clearly wanted to provide the best care possible. When my mother was in her last days of life, Dr. Garrie was there when we needed her (even at midnight) to make sure the necessary medical care was provided and that the emotional needs of the family were addressed. She guided the whole family through the end stage of my mother's life.… I am forever grateful to her for her care and attention and making sure that any questions the family had were answered and any emotional needs were met. Thank you Dr. Garrie, you are an outstanding doctor.
