Alaina Ingham Neary

Alaina Ingham Neary, RDN, CD is a registered dietitian at Intermountain Health's Riverton Hospital, who partners with patients to help them feel confident, informed, and empowered in making nutrition choices that support their health and well-being. She believes that good nutrition should be practical, enjoyable, and personalized, helping patients reach their goals while still including the foods and traditions they love.

Alaina provides nutrition counseling for a wide range of conditions, including digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, gastroparesis, SIBO, and disaccharidase deficiencies. Her clinical interests also include prediabetes and diabetes management, weight management, liver health, cardiovascular health, and ketogenic diet therapy for neurological conditions.

Patients appreciate Alaina’s judgment-free and supportive approach to care. She strives to create a safe space where nutrition …care is tailored to each individual’s needs, focusing on progress over perfection and building sustainable habits that fit their lifestyle.

Originally from Montana, Alaina has called Salt Lake City home for more than 20 years and proudly considers Utah home. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, reading, home improvement projects, and sharing great meals with family and friends.
