Summary
Dr. Barr graduated from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1989, and then completed a General Practice Residency program at LIJ Medical Center. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended SUNY Albany. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Barr has kept up to date with many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. In addition to continuums at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Dr. Barr is eligible to receive his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This is awarded to dentists who have completed at least 500 hours of continuing education and successfully passed a nearly full day written examination.
Dr. Barr serves as a consultant dentist to numerous nursing home facilities in Westchester County, and has been doing so since 1990. In that capacity, he provides a range of dental services to the senior population at those homes.
Dr. Barr lives in Stamford with his wife, Janet, …and their three children. His community involvement includes being an active member with their Temple, and coaching and managing in the Stamford Youth Soccer League for many years.
