Dr. Alan Berman

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Berman for many years, and have been very happy with him. He is caring, professional, and an excellent periodontist.

I visited Commack office for consultation about the pain in the tooth to confirm that it is not due to periodontal problem. I was sitted in the chair and immediately had x-rays taken then dr. Berman examined/ evaluated my tooth. What they won’t tell you is that the Commack office is not in network, that each xray is billed, that consultation is billed as periodontal examination. I left with over $200 bill. It was the most pricy consultation I had with any dental specialist. This practice is definitely after your wallet and will squeeze every penny as they are well skilled in billing the highest rates. I will never use them again. This is not the way to gain patient trust which obviously you know. The staff is rude and care less. My receipt didn’t include list of items I paid for. Everyone pretended to be busy and couldn’t answer any questions about billing.

A real family Dr.,the most caring and kind Dr. I have ever meet if it wasn't for him, I would have wound up in the hospital.The staff was also fantastic they made you feel at home!!!!!

I find he is very laid back and calm. Puts me at ease I recommend him to everyone.

I had a lot of anxiety when it came to dental work. I used to cry when I knew I had to have work done so I always used to put it off as long as possible. I needed two molars pulled. Dr.Berman was very patient with me. His gentle touch and easy way about him made the injections practically painless. slightest pinch. We spoke and joked around as I was waiting to be numb. Pulling the teeth was a piece of cake. I am very grateful to Dr.Berman for changing my outlook on dentist.

I came to Dr Berman with my front tooth loose and gums inflamed. The Girls in the office got me an appointment right away. I was given an exam and a plan for treatment. Five months later my gums are healthy and no movement on that front tooth. Thanks everyone for saving my smile.

I had a horrible toothache and my friend referred me to Dr. Berman. I was so happy to find this office. Dr. Berman and his staff were so helpful and caring with my treatment and insurance concerns. I would certainly recommend Dr. Berman to anyone who needs periodontal treatment. And now I get my regular cleanings there, too!

Dr Berman is an excellent diagnostian and technician and a caring doctor that has become a friend. he cares about his patients as family.
