Dr. Alan Howard Bleiberg, MD

Rude, abrupt and contradicted his staff. Recently at Nationwide Children's ED. Our child received breathing treatments and vitals as well as oxygen level improved. Nursing staff informed us they would likely be bringing discharge paperwork soon. Dr. came in, said our child was worse (without saying why or how) and was unwilling to further discuss. When we said we wanted to take our child home, Dr. became belligerent, indicating he would not provide any prescriptions and threatened to call child protective services. He finished with "good luck getting an appointment at your doctor's office tomorrow" and made us sign AMA form. Saw pediatrician next day where viral syndrome diagnosed and lung meds given, with child doing fine. This man is rude, argumentative, disrespectful to staff and patients and not an asset to his facility. Easy to see why he has moved around so much.

Fear mongerer. Dishonest and belittles his nurses + their input. Did not listen to patient or family.
