Dr. Alan Mark Bloomberg, MD

This wss with out a doubt the worst physician I've seen in 40 years. He had the audacity to ask relevant medical information in a non private setting. I was treated with such disregard. I was trying to get a controlled prescription refilled which requires a exam. Before I even went back to a private room to discuss why I was there, I was interrogated infront of non licensed personnel and basically told he would see me at his convenience. He looked as if he really did nor want to be bothered and I was infringing on his Sunday. Stay away from this physician. The only reason I gave one star, was because I cannot give 0.

He is very rude, unwelcoming and mean. instead of saying Hello when he 1st sees me he rudely say's "WHAT HAPPEND??" I was shocked. Just not a nice and professional person at all. Doesn't know how to interact with people. Best to avoid him!!

After a brief physical, I asked to renew my Viagra prescription. He told be that I should not engage in such activities because I had a bad heart. This was told to me without any EKG or a recommendation for further evaluation. In my 70's, I work full times, in the gym three to four times a week, play golf and have a very active life style, non smoker, healthy eater. This left me with a distrust of doctors.

It was crowded upon my arrival so wait time was approx 1 1/2 hours-understandable. The nurse was professional, pleasant, and kind. I waited briefly for Dr. Bloomberg. He entered the room, did not introduce himself until I said 'and you are?'. He asked about symptoms then listened to my chest sounds. I began to tell him another piece of the symp picture that I'd forgotten. He interrupted mid sentence and talked over me. I asked, 'may I finish my sentence?' to which he responded 'no, I have a lot of patients to see and you can ask any questions at the end'. I had no q's, simply wanted to include information. When I told him I was leaving if I couldn't finish my statement, he pointed to the door, saying 'there you go' and reminded me that he had many patients. He put his finger to his lips and shushed me. Dr Bloomberg was rude, unpleasant, brusque , and did not engender trust or confidence. He was, however, willing to ask the 3 q's I had at the end. This was one of the worst experiences… I've had with medical 'professionals'.

Dr Bloomberg is a very rude person who has an unwelcoming personality. He should not be interacting with patients.
