Been seeing him a long time. He’s professional, knows his stuff, has a great talent for cutting spots off your face and not leaving a scar. I saw other doctors for this condition before I met Dr Boyd. Definitely not using anyone else. They left scars and were rude. Sticking with Dr Boyd.

Dr. Boyd seems nice but he is not able to diagnose my skin problem. I suffered so much because of his lack of knowledge

Dr. Boyd is very rude and disrespectful and cuts you off and does not allow you to speak. Vanderbilt dermatology has zero people skills and only cares about their money.

On time, efficient, personable and knows his stuff. Addressed my issues quickly, formulated a plan and got me on my way. Been to a few other derms with my rash and got nowhere. Looking at the other reviews here I have no idea who these guys were seeing because my experience was the BOMB!!

I'd give Dr. Alan Boyd 0 stars if I could. His "visit" with me involved his medical student taking to him a sheet of paper with a succinct review of my complaints, him reading it briefly, came into the room, looked at maybe 3 of the 50 or so lesions I have on my body, declared "It's a rash" and walked back out before I could say anything. I voiced some concerns to the student who then went to Dr. Boyd - whose response was to come back in, poke one of the lesions painfully & repeatedly while stating, "See this? See this? This is a RASH." Frankly, Dr. Boyd was a brute & I left crying & feeling victimized.
