Dr. Alan J Burke, MD

I have been Dr Burke’s patient for a number of years. IMHO he is a Miracle worker and I would never go to another ENT. He has performed two different surgeries on me. He also provides Turbinoid injections every 6 months which really relieve my sinus congestion. He has a great “bedside manner” and I highly recommend him.

Absolutely, the most capable physician I could have gone to and sooo pleased with his work and the entire office’s assistance. Super well-mannered and patient friendly and skills well beyond expectations. We are fortunate to have him in our community. Thank-you Dr. Burke! George G.

I would take any negative comments on this site with a grain of salt. Dr. Burke did complex nose surgery on my son with amazing results. His bedside manner was excellent and he explained everything that needed to be done. Our follow up visits were equally as good. I would highly recommend Dr. Burke.

This doctor did an amazing job with a thyroidectomy. I was very nervous going into the surgery and he explained everything that was expected to happen. He also personally called me rather than have an assistant call to check on me after surgery.

HORRIBLE experience, do NOT see Dr. Burke! First let me start by saying he has the WORST bedside manner I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot of doctors). Waiting time was extremely long, and then all he did was give me the worst case scenarios (basically scaring me), gave me a high dose of prednisone and then wouldn’t answer any of my questions I had about the horrible side effects I was having due to the prednisone. And anytime I called to ask him questions while on the medication his nurse would have to call me back only to tell me that he couldn’t give me an answer to my question and that I could always go see my PCP. Are you serious? What good is a doctor if all they do is prescribe you a seriously high dosage of strong medication but can’t answer any of your concerns or questions about it? But yet any other doctor I’ve been to in the past has no problems addressing my concerns and making me feel comfortable in their decisions. Instead during one of my follow up visits he decides to… tell me that one of his patients went psychotic and was telling people to admit him to a hospital because of the side effects of the prednisone Dr. Burke had him on! So I was already emotional (as a side effect), then when I hear this scary news, my eyes start tearing up and u know he didn’t even have the decency to offer me a tissue that was sitting right there on his desk?! I had to ask him myself for a freaking tissue!! I will never refer anyone to this doctor, he shouldn’t even be a doctor in my opinion.

This man is ARROGANT and dismissive! Not truthful, either; does not accept responsbility for what he's said...nurses at St. Mary's and even staff at his practice don't have good things to say about him. I wouldn't send the devil to this man. I don't know how he made "top doc". I'd give him a minus 10 easily if the rating allowed and with a clear conscience.

I had a sinu surgery and was told a rhinoplasty would also help with all the many problems I was having. I too out a loan to paid for the surgery. I was told I would see the differents in my nose shape as it heal. Here it is 10 yrs no different notice and still sinu problems. I complainted but was told I would have to paid again.

This office is run poorly.You spend an hour waiting and get 5 minutes of health care. A typical cookie cutter practice for money.Hopefully president Obama will will close their Mcdonalds offices and save us taxpayers money!

Dr. Burke is a great surgeon. He did my sinus surgery 10 yrs ago and he did a great job. I had it re done yesterday and again a fantastic an very meticulous surgeon. Very caring. Just wish his office would answer the phone and not have every call go directly to voice mail. I woul highly recommend him as a great and caring surgeon.

I found him to be arrogant when asked questions. He makes you feel like he will take care of everything, but he does not. He does no actual patient about what will happen to you. His staff does not explain anything either. He is inconsiderate of your feelings.
