I truly didn't want to write this review. I waited 45 days before positing because I wanted to give things time and hopped my situation would improve. But I feel other patients should know my experience before choosing this doctor. after a laryngoscopy showed I had a vocal cord nodule, I completed speech therapy and was scheduled for surgery on April 8 to remove it. After I was put under anesthesia, a bout an hour later the dr came out and informed my husband that the proper device HAD NOT BEEN ORDERED. what upset me was doctor did not wait to explain this to me personally after I woke up, and after that I never receive any follow up call from him, his office or his team to check on me. The next day I woke up with severe nausea, strange taste in my mouth that I had never experienced before, and tingling, burning and numbness on my tongue, also during the procedure, my tooth was also CHIPPED. when my symptom did not improve, I saw another ENT who told me my symptom related to pressure… and injury to my tongue during surgery. from that point, I contacted his office 4 separate times because my symptoms were getting worse not better. I was never able to speak with dr . I was repeatedly told by staff " I SHOULD BE OK." By May 15, my symptoms had continued worsening. I went to immediate care and was advised contact ENT surgeon immediately. I called their office 9:30 a.m and didn't receive call till 4 pm. after explaining mu situation was urgent and how concerned I was , I was offered and appointment 3 weeks later. To this day, I have not received a call from the dr. in my experience, the office staff and communication process was extremally disappointing. I felt unhears, unsupported, and left completely on my own after surgery. patients deserve follow up care answers, and compassion when complication and concerning symptoms happen. I can not recommend this doctor based on my experience. be careful begore making your decision

Dr. Burningham, ENT, explained my condition thoroughly and with compassion. I trust his input as evidenced by CAT Scans that he thoroughly explained. He is patient with me as I learn about my condition and ask questions for clarity.

This visit was an initial assessment - I am a new patient. Dr B had obviously carefully considered pre-visit documentation and told me the material was very helpful. He was straightforward in discussing what my problem might be and options to treat it. He was willing to proceed in whatever direction I chose. He instilled confidence that he had heard and seen evidence necessary to formulate a treatment plan that had a good chance of success. I am very comfortable to see him for next steps in this plan.
