First of all the wait was rediculous. Dr. had absolutely no interest in listening to my reflection of symptoms, pain, and health issues. He's strictly in it for the money. I beg to differ. If you need an Urgent Care Dr.....one who genuinely cares. Go see Dr. Ibarra at Southwest Urgent Care. It's $55.00 CHEAPER? Half the wait time? And he truly cares. There are many physicians to choose from in El Paso. I suggest you choose wisely. Upper Valley Urgent Care is a mere fallacy of agreedy physician who's simply in it for the money. Save money,time,and get much better care! Go see Dr. Ibarra. Dr. Carpenter; ranks in the 0.5 star category to me. And I; have spoken to many other patients of his in the area as well. Fast service at first. After payment was made however no one was avaliable to assist. Staff became rude and unwilling to render any aid. I was deeply disappointed with the change in service and attitude. Will never return to this facility.

Amazing! Keep up good work! Fast service! Doctor communicates, no talking down, felt comfortable talking with him, the whole clinic and staff were a nice experience.

When I arrived at UVUC my total waiting time was less than the time it took to fill out my medical histoy. I got right in and was seen almost immediately. The physician that consulted and diagnosed my ailments was the owner himself, Dr. Alan Carpenter. I must say I have never felt more informed about what was going on with my body than I do now. He sat down and spoke with me about my particular problem then went on to explain in terms that a non-medical professional could understand. He let me know all and maybe more about preventative measures and treatment for my illness. All in all I can honestly say my experience with this doctor was rare and exceptional.
