Summary
I graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, where I took my first computer course in 1968. At Yale University, I majored in combined sciences (psychology and biology) and conducted research in neuropharmacology and childhood learning disorders. I moved to San Diego in 1980 for my rheumatology fellowship at UC San Diego, Medical Center and I have now spent exactly half of my life in California. My interests outside of the office include photography, hiking, tennis, jazz, contemporary art, and community service.
