Dr. Alan Scott Divine, MD

In my opinion women should avoid this doctor. If that is not possible, have a nurse in the room with you at all times. If the nurse leaves the room, you should leave with the nurse.

I was a patient of Dr Divine until the mothership Allina became more important to Dr Divine than the patient. I moved on to a physician who was looking out for my best interest and truly wants to medically treat the patient, not just please corporate.

I saw Dr Divine for a swollen eye...not an eye problem but the skin around my eye was puffy. He told me this was due to lack of Vitamin D. Totally incorrect and absurd Dx. Went to a different Dr who said Vit D would never cause that and what I have is Angio Edema. I would have been happier if Dr Divine just said he didn't know instead of making up something.

I left Minneapolis some 25 years ago, but if it were possible, Dr. Divine would be my doctor right now. He's the best of the best.

Good physician, poor staff.

I've been a patient of Dr. Divine's for many years. He is truely one of the more knowlegeable and caring doctor's I have found. He is always available when needed, is very careful and detailed with his diagnosis. When specialized care is called for, he sends you to the right person, and continues to take a active, and proactive, role.I have had many doctors, good and not so good, over the years but never one better than Dr. Divine.

The man is very thorough; excellent physician.

a doctor who actually cares! Takes the time to listen - treats you like a person (not a slab of meat). You can reach him by phone! And he will call you! Was a great help physically and emotionally over the years. Unfortunately we moved away - wish we could've taken him with us!

Dr. Alan Divine is one of the very few Doctors that actually listens to what you have to say. He is the best!! He listens and doesn't rush you -- he doesn't talk down to you and he never makes you feel stupid. Plus he accurately diagnoses what ails you.... he is absolutely the best doctor I've ever gone to and I've been to a lot of Doctors since my diagnoses of Cancer 11 years ago.
