Dr. Alan A Esla

Dr. Alan A. Esla DDS, MD grew up in Southern California where he received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge. He then enrolled in the school of dentistry at University of California at Los Angeles, where he obtained his DDS degree. He earned his MD from UCLA School of Medicine and completed his General Surgery internship at UCLA. Dr. Esla completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Esla has been trained in a wide variety of Contemporary Oral and Maxillofacial surgical procedures. These include: Sedation and General Anesthesia, Removal of Wisdom Teeth, Dental and Facial Implants, Oral and Facial Trauma, Reconstructive Jaw Surgery, Oral and Facial Growths and Cancer, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Sleep Apnea, and training in laser surgery. Dr. Esla is a Diplomate - American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Esla is involved in numerous professional local, state, as well as national Dental and Medical …societies. He is a part time attending at UCLA Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department and regularly attends scientific and educational meetings in his field. Dr. Esla resides in Bakersfield, California with his wife Stephanie. He enjoys Scuba Diving, Hiking, Chess, and Soccer.
