Dr. Alan Feldman, MD

I initially liked Dr Feldman & returned to him a couple of years. I have been on 112 mg medication for decades & very healthy & stable. Dr Feldman reduced to 100. I almost immediately became constipated, never had that problem before!, difficulty concentrating, remembering, gained weight for no reason, confusion. I could not remember the names of people I knew for years. I called to express my concern & Chris said the lower dose of levothyroxine had nothing to do with my symptoms. So I googled & found that everything I was experiencing absolutely was caused by thyroid issues, which were not apparent when I was on the dosage that worked for me for 30+ years. When my prescription was renewed by Dr Feldman’s office, the dosage was 70mg! Oh my God! I had a horrible experience on 100 mg, but instead of putting me back on 112mg, the dosage was decreased another 30 points! I immediately called another dr, who was so concerned about my symptoms, that she cut a sliver off a 70mg & had me… take it in the office. She called in a 112mg prescription & I returned to my previously good health over a period of weeks. My friends had noticed changes in my concentration, memory & anxiety level resulting from the confusion & I’ll health resulting from the lower dosage.

Dr. Feldman has been a great Endo to work with. He listens to the patient and understands that sometimes the blood work numbers don't always tell the whole story. Plus, his nurse Chris is really amazing and an excellent asset to the Dr.

Great doc and nice guy. My wife has Thyroid issues and I have diabetes. We both see him now for over 5 years.

He is supposed to be the go to guy for thyroid biopsies. He did one on me and he seems to know what he is doing. It was painless and I had the result 4 days later.

Very down to earth specialist who takes enough time. Excellent diabetes doctor for both types. Unfortunately my family has to visit him and we are all very happy.

My thyroid biopsy with him was very good. Hardly pain and tissue sample was conclusive. Recommended.
