Dr. Alan Michael Fischer, MD

Apparently, there is no point in trying pro-actively to address your health issues with this doctor (unlike the rest of modern medicine). According to him, if he does not see specifically, a chronic issue, you are lying and need to wait until you are in crisis mode to schedule an appointment. Complete waste of time. To this fossilized approach to medicine, you can also expect a bed-side manner that can only be described as Rude. Your results may vary, but that is an hour of my life I will never get back. His best advice was to take a bath with bleach . . . seriously.

I don’t know how this Dr got so many good reviews after my experience with him! I went there to get diagnosed for a suspicious looking mole on my scalp. He took one look at it and told me it was fine. Proceeded to get up and walk out. I stopped him and asked him to please take a biopsy of the mole just to be sure it was not cancerous. I have had similar problems and I know what is normal and what isn’t. Maybe I should have been the Dr!!!! He got a little annoyed because I was questioning his expertise but he took a biopsy to appease me! Sure enough my biopsy came back malignant and I had to get MOHS surgery immediately to remove it or they said it could spread to my other organs. If I did not ask this Dr who is supposedly a SPECIALIST to take a biopsy I could have had major issues and would have left it alone to spread! After I got back the results they asked me if I wanted to schedule Dr Fischer to do my surgery. I said ABSOLUTELY NOT! I asked for my records and went to another… dermatologist and got a second opinion and had my surgery done by them! The Rendon Center in East Boca Raton. They are excellent. I had my mole surgically removed and hopefully I am now cancer free in that area. I have to constantly go to get tested so I now know TO ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION AND TO TRUST your gut!! I just know from previous cancerous moles that this one was suspicious and needed a biopsy. I am glad I pushed him to take the biopsy! Now the office is threatening me to take me to collections because I owe them my insurance co-pay of $45. I told them I should not have even paid him for that office visit. I had to tell him to do his job!? They can take me to collections as he will not ever see me again and I highly recommend you go to another Dermatologist. He obviously does not care about his job or patients. He was very non chalant and seemed like he did not want to be there working. Then Dr. RETIRE!!! Because he could have cost me my life!!!!!!

It was the most aqward experience in a Doctorss office. Place smells and was run down Doctor told me to never email again Didn't get a straight answer u Should have known when there was only one patient in front. I don't recommend

Dr. Fischer is the best dermatologist I have ever been to. He is an excellent doctor, thorough and pleasant. His office does not treat you like a number, as some do. His staff is great and remembers who you are when you arrive. The wait time is minimal, which is always a plus. He will be my dermatologist from now on. I highly recommend him.

It is a refreshing change to not have to wait for a long time to see a physician.Dr Fischer and his office staff are very efficient and comepetent and knowledgable.I would recommend him to anyone.

Have been to this office several times, and have referred family here. Excellent staff, fast appointment scheduling, and very qualified doctor.

I would recommend Dr Fisher to anyone.
