Alan B. Goldberg, MD

Dr. Alan Goldberg is a cardiovascular disease specialist who has dedicated 13 years to caring for patients with heart and vascular conditions. He earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center and completed his residency training at Rush-Presbyterian/St. Lukes. This comprehensive training at Rush institutions has given him deep expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular disorders.

Dr. Goldberg practices at multiple Rush locations throughout Chicago, including Rush South Loop, Rush Cardiology, and Rush North & Harlem. He specializes in managing high blood pressure conditions, including hypertensive emergencies that require immediate attention. His clinical skills include performing contrast echocardiography to evaluate heart function and conducting stress tests to assess cardiac performance during exercise. Dr. Goldberg also uses transthoracic echocardiograms to provide detailed images of the heart's structure and function.
