Dr. Alan Lee Goldman, MD, FACS

My experience with Dr. Goldman was extremely disappointing. I sought treatment for hemorrhoid-related symptoms and was prescribed a cream before being scheduled for hemorrhoid banding. Looking back, I do not feel that enough time was spent evaluating my condition or discussing whether I was an appropriate candidate for the procedure. I left with the impression that more thorough examination and discussion should have taken place before moving forward. After the banding procedure, I experienced severe pain that lasted for weeks and significantly affected my quality of life. The pain was so intense that I spent much of my time confined to bed and unable to maintain my normal daily activities. What was most frustrating was feeling unsupported during my recovery. When complications or unexpected symptoms occur, patients need guidance, follow-up, and reassurance. In my experience, I did not receive the level of attention and care I expected while dealing with ongoing severe pain. As a… patient, I felt like another number rather than someone whose concerns were being fully addressed. The overall experience left me questioning whether my condition had been thoroughly evaluated before the procedure was recommended. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering treatment to ask detailed questions, seek a second opinion if necessary, and make sure all risks, alternatives, and underlying conditions have been carefully discussed before proceeding. This review reflects my personal experience and the difficulties I encountered during treatment and recovery.

Dr. Goldman took great care of me. I absolutely recommend he and his team. If you want proper treatment, see Dr. Alan. Stop wasting so much money on all that over the counter stuff that doesn’t solve the issue. If you want to keep putting it off or risk it with another doc, it’s your butt on the line. I was impressed how welcoming is Dr. Goldman's office. The staff is friendly and helpful, the office is clean and located in a wonderful part of town, and Dr. Goldman is very good at what he does. He's solved my problems quick and painless, unlike other doctors who suggested more invasive and costly procedures. I highly recommend him.

One of my favorite doctors he is so kind from start to finish. He will sit and listen to what you have to say and talk through it. He is setting me on the path to avoid a surgery that would have been costly, unnecessary, and painful. He absolutely knows what he is doing.

I had hemorrhoid surgery over ten years ago, and the after effects were very unpleasant. When I began having some issues again, I saw Dr. Goldman, who has since treated me for additional hemorrhoids and also an anal fissure. I am very pleased with the treatments I have been given and am currently doing very well. Staff has always been very courteous.
