Dr. Alan Peter Goldman, MD

Extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent prescription. I specifically requested that my prescription be sent to my pharmacy yet it was instead forwarded to a different pharmacy with which Dr. Goldman practice appears to have an affiliation. This action is not only inconvenient, but also raises serious concerns about patient autonomy and choice. Furthermore, when I contacted the office to address this issue, a member of your front desk staff responded with unacceptable and unprofessional language, using a derogatory term and abruptly ending the call. This behavior is completely inappropriate and reflects poorly on your Brighton Beach Medical Group commitment to providing respectful and courteous patient care. I expect a higher standard of professionalism and adherence to patient requests.

Unprofessional! I tried to call his office several times to make an appointment but they never answer the phone. So, I used the Zodoc app to make an appointment with Dr. Goldman. Today is the day of the appointment. I was getting close to his office when I received a message "Unfortunately Dr. Alan P. Goldman had to cancel your upcoming appointment. We are sorry for the inconvenience". They should have told me ahead of time. Any professional Dr. would call one day before the appointment not one hour before the appointment. Ridiculous and unprofessional!

Dr. Goldman has failed to follow up with me regarding my abnormal test results. I was told a time when I would receive a call, and he never called. His office is not returning my emails or phone calls. His office initially hesitated to give me my own test results, which is against the law. When I saw Dr. Goldman in the office, I had to wait 3 hours. Thankfully I sought a second opinion and am now receiving care.

Dr. Goldman is a very good rheumatologist. He stays up on the latest research and application in the field. His manner is professional and approachable. He listens and I believe he really cares about his patients.

Great Dr. Smart carriage n always eager to help.

I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH FMS MANY EARS AGO AND MY DR IN NJ RETIRED, AFTER MANY YEARS OF GOING TO PMR DR'S I FINALLY FOUND DR.G. HE WAS ABLE TO ADVISE ME ON WHAT I NEED. HE ALSO HELPED ME TO CONTINUE MY DISSABILITY, I WANT TO THANK HIM AND HIS ENTIRE FRONT DESK FOR HELPING ME.

AFTER SEEING MULTIPULE SPECIALIST (SO CALLED) NOONE WAS ABLE TO TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. AFTER A LONG VISIT WITH MULTI TESTING (DONEE IN OFFICE) I WAS TOLD I HAVE FMS WITH PROPER MEDICATION AND THERAPHY IM DOING GREAT!

I START BY SAING I HAVE BEEN TO MULTI DR'S TRYING TO FIND MY DX. AFTER DR. GOLDMAN DID TONS OF TEST AND BY SECOND VISIT TOLD ME I HAS FMS. FOR THOSE THAT SUFFER FROM IT PLEASE SEE HIM HE IS WELL EDUCATED AND KNOWS WHAT TO DO. THE ONLY DOWN FALL IS THE WAIT IN THE ROOM. BUT WHO CARES IF YOUR GETTING HELP.

I had a wonderful experince from start to finish. I called with severe pain and was able to get appt same day! Once I arrived i was greeted and put in a room with in few minutes. Dr Goldman did multiple tests on me and my issue was resolved sameday. With correct medication and proper excercise iam able to go on with my daily rutine. Thank you all at BRIGHTON BEACH MEDICAL!
