Miserable and insulting -- Took the words right out of my mouth! Staff is always super friendly. Today the one lady personally greeted me with name, even though she hasn't seen me in a year... Dr. Gurwood has always been nice too... But calling him today with a simple question was the biggest mistake I've made with that office... I simply called him and asked him if I should walk a mile and a half with or without the new orthotics. Got real nasty with me and accused of going against what he was saying and I was just going to do what I want no matter what he told me. If that was the case, why would I even call and ask him a question in the first place?!? But I'll tell you what I'm not going to do. I'm 'not' going to just lounge around 24/7 for weeks until I break into the orthodics all because he wants to classify a mile and a half of walking (walking, not running!) as "too much stress on the feet"... Yeah, apparently a mile and a half is a lot and too much on your feet. Everyone… is different! Just because you're bitter that you can't handle a mile and a half without having pain, don't take it out on me! I'm also 40 years younger than you, so realize that and take a chill pill!! He was God awful arrogant with me too, wouldn't let me get a word in edge-wise. When he finally shut his big fat mouth, I said alright thanks, following an immediate hang-up... Wow, just wow. And to think I traveled 2 hours roundtrip just to go back to him this year... Never again. He just lost one less patient... Which should be a shame for him, as every time I'm there it seems like he barely has any patients. Gee, I wonder why...
