Dr Harzman was a second opinion for me. 1st dr wanted to take my whole colon. Dr Harzman performed a rectocele repair, problem solved. His bedside manner is compassionate and supportive. i am grateful for his exemplary care in a situation/ surgery that is embarrassing if not difficult to deal with. His office staff is very nice.

I do not recommend this doctor. The waiting time was just awful - I was sent to his office after 15 minutes after my arrival, however, before he came, I spent there about 1 hour in waiting. Also, a doctor in training came first to see me - and nobody even asked if I did not mind! I would certainly choose not to! Also, I do not value this doctor's opinion. I got opinion from another specialist, and it was quite different. In this doctor's office, I felt as a hypochondriac. If you can, choose someone else.

He's a great doctor. He always makes sure my husband and I know what to expect next in his care and recovery. If we ever need him we get right in for appointments.

Dr. Harzman gave only one surgical option for the treatment of a rectal tumor and that was to remove the rectum. Cleveland Clinic was able to save my rectum with the same survival rate. For rectal cancer ... always get at least one opinion at the Cleveland Clinic.
