Dr. Alan Ray Heap, DMD

I give the 1 star because this Dr is actual a very personable man and the new female dentist seems so pleasant however his office staff are quite incompetent. They are friendly but the Billing is beyond infuriating . They make mistake after mistake here and will OVERBill you each time if you are not observant . They will do it with such an authoritative spin you will not think to question it at first but beware… In addition, they will bill the WRONG insurance company and send out incorrect patient Xrays to other Dentists- Both have happened to me and my family here creating an extreme amount of confusion on our part, the receiving dental office part and the insurance company part. If you go here be prepared to be a financial and medical Auditor to catch their sloppy Mistakes. Ironically they seem to have Too many staff for the space and all are a Bumbling Mess of confusion. The number of staff does not equate better handling of Admin tasks. The paperwork is relentlessly… never ending and they seem to give it to you to RE-do unless you remind them that “I did this just 6 months ago!” They check it and say Oh yea I see that (???). Wait times that go past your appointment time; NO wifi in the wait room and when and if you have something perhaps like a cavity the older guy gives you a shot and tells you he will give you “10 minutes to numb up” Goes to his other waiting patients because they OVERbook and leave you sitting there like a lame duck for … 40 MINUTES only to return with a chipper demeanor and no apology like it’s normal practice. HORRIBLE service .Maybe he isn’t so nice… ? This is no reflection on the New female dentist who is so pleasant but she is an anomaly and if she takes over one day perhaps it will be better but it’s Bad. She may leave before then. Also There is No adequate parking in front for the amount of customers they overbook. I am Finally LEAVING. Anywhere’s got to be better than this. I deserve better and so do you. Keep walking and if you don’t, you will remember I told you so….
