Dr. Alan Lee Hubbard, MD

I was sent to Dr.Hubbard by my Dermatologist .I made appt..,he explained what was going to be done and how.He asked me if I had any questions.He makes you feel very comfortable,took his time with me. I didnt feel rushed through appt.Dr Hubbard made sure I was comfortable and not feeling any pain or discomfort.A very personable doctor.His staff is as nice as he is. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hubbard is the simply best at what he does. His expertise is second to none , a top shelf surgeon with greatest care for patients. I am thankful to those who recommended his services.

I would not recommend Dr. Hubbard to breast cancer patients. I had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Hubbard, both of which had complications. I had visited him several times to discuss my symptoms, and he dismissed the symptoms and blamed my DNA. The first surgery was a sentinel node surgery and port placement. He created 3 incisions to place the port, it should have only been 1. I have a 3 inch scare from the port incision and 2 scars above and below it. He also used the wrong tape, which gave me a rash. The sentinel node surgery was unnecessary. All my nodes were negative for cancer, but he insisted on removing the node. I developed swelling in the arm and breast immediately after the surgery. When I went back to him, he refused to look at the swelling and blamed it on the way I heal. The second surgery was the lumpectomy and port removal, again, I developed swelling and scarring. It has been 1 year later, I am still having problems. I have met other patients who have had port… surgeries done by other surgeons, and the surgery looks very discreet with very small incisions and no scarring. His surgical skills are very poor, and he has no bed side manner. Our first visit with him, he was very nice and polite, probably just trying to get my business, but after that he was very rude. I would not recommend Dr. Hubbard to anyone.

I had to choose a surgeon from 3 referrals, I chose based on these reviews and a photo. I must say that Dr. Hubbard is one of the most kind, compassionate caring people let alone physicians that I have ever met. He took the time to carefully explain in detail using a simple sketch what I was facing. I had the ideal nurse who (by Gods planning ended up with me every step of the way from biopsy then needle biopsy and surprised me coming through the curtain for surgery. Sadly her own Mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and though she works with hundreds of surgeons she entrusted her own mothers care with none other than Dr. Hubbard.

Dr. Alan Hubbard performed a Colonectomy on me approximately 3 years ago after I had re-occuring Diverticulitis attacks. My initial office visit through my after-care was the best care I've ever received. Even though I ended up back in the hospital after my first release due to a dehydration issue, Dr. Hubbard was by far the best, most compassionate, personable Dr. I've ever had!

Dr. Hubbard is exceptional. Caring, competent and compassionate, he is the best Dr. I have been to in thirty years. He takes time with you to explain everything and puts you right at ease. His staff is courteous and friendly. All medical offices and Dr's could take a lesson from him!

If I'm ever in the position of needing surgery again there is no doubt I'll return to Dr. Hubbard. He's so approachable and caring that I was immediately grateful he would be taking care of me. He's always responsive to calls and questions and made my husband feel that I was in the best hands. His follow-up post surgery has been remarkable.

I love, love, love Dr. Hubbard!!! He is THE most gentle, caring, best surgeon on the planet. Wonderful!

Dr. Hubbard is the most gentle caring dr. He did my surgery when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Of course I was scared out of my mind, at first. After all my appointments were done and I was ready for surgery I was not scared in any way. I am a huge chicken! Dr. Hubbard and his staff answered all my questions and I knew what was to come. They prepared me very well for what to come. I have had many girl friends diagnosed with Breast Cancer since my surgery. The ones that have not used Dr. Hubbard have all had problems after their surgery. Dr. Hubbard took all the time he needed (witch was a pretty long surgery) to make sure he got all the breast tissue out of me. Dr. Hubbard saved my life!!!!! I can highly recommend him.

Dr. Hubbard, the staff & the The Woodlands Memorial Hermann Hospital did an outstanding job helping me get through my critical illness!If it not had been for their outstanding customer service, soothing bedside manner & an outstanding staff it would have been so much harder for me to cope.Dr. Hubbard is very clear in his explanations & let's you know available options along with doctor referrals.
