I could not be any happier after my first visit with Dr. Kauppi. He was friendly, kind, showed patience with my many questions and understanding. Unlike other endocrinologist I have seen, he took the time to really explain what was happening within my body, how he came to the diagnosis he gave me, discuss options I have along with the pros and cons that go along with them. He didn't brush off anything I had to say or wanted to discuss. Dr. Kauppi is how a doctor should relate to patients, makes the dreaded doctor visits enjoyable experience.

Dr Kauppi is a caring person. He is very knowledgeable on the Insulin Pump. He is professional in every way. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Kauppi s by far one of the best endocrinologist in the country. He listens he pays attention to what you say when you go in there and he always make sure to follow up with you and to ensure that that the patient can be in the best health possible. I highly recommend him.

Dr Kauppi has outstanding knowledge of insulin pump therapy. He applies that knowledge to my personal lifestyle to adjust my pump accordingly. And he’s a good person. Highly recommend Dr Kauppi.

Dr. Kaupi spoke so quickly and in medical verbage that was hard to understand. He doesn't seem to be able to talk to patients in some sort of layman's terms.

My opinion and my opinion only is to look for another Doctor. I did not have good luck with the Dr. and ultimately went to Duke for a proper diagnosis which unfortunately was cancerous after he did an ultrasound, told me I was fine and to come back in 6 months for my annual scheduled appointment. I never went back.
