If you have a real problem, go to a real doctor. Dr. Lebowitz is an excellent diagnostician and knows his stuff.

De Lebowitz is a caring brilliant personable diagnostician . If he doesn't know how to treat your problem, he knows who does. I never mind waiting for my appointment, knowing he is spending necessary time with the previous patient, as he did with me.

Best doctor my family has ever had. On the first visit he spent almost 90 minutes with me, conducting a detailed examination of my physical and mental health history. He responds promptly to emails, recommends academic articles to read on medical subjects so you can educate yourself, and always provides a holistic analysis in diagnosing issues.When I went on an overseas trip to a developing country, he prepared a care package of medications to take along and even provided his cell phone number, insisting that I call him before receiving any medical treatment in the country should something bad happen. I wish all doctors were like him.

The wait is way too long. I'm a relatively new patient but I can't tolerate sitting in a dark, stuffy room for over an hour for a 15 minute appt. The staff is okay, but I couldn"t help notice the cramped, hectic work space. AND He doesn't take ANY insurance???

Alan's been my doctor for many years. Listens well, cares about all aspects of my life and health. Also very proactive, and well-versed in the leading edge literature, so he's on top of changes in thinking about disease and treatment.

Dr. Lebowitz will spend plenty of time with you to listen to your health needs, asks lots of questions to help get to the bottom of things. He takes the time to explain things and follows up on issues. Personally, I think it is rare to find a doctor that is doesn't make you feel rushed -- also rare to find a doctor that doesn't jump to diagnosis without hearing all of the information.
