Dr. Alan James Lynch, MD

Alan Lynch, MD has joined Centennial Psychiatric Associates. He is a graduate of the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed a residency in psychiatry and fellowship in addiction psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has also received special training in brain stimulation therapy at Duke University Medical Center. Until recently, he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Nursing at Vanderbilt. A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, he is certified in psychiatry and addiction psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, addiction medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. In 2004 he was named %u201CPsychiatrist of the Year%u201D by Nashville NAMI and has spent the majority of his career in public psychiatry, with special expertise in the medical management of psychosis, …treatment resistant mood disorders, and addiction.
