2 years ago I went for my normal mammogram. I have always been told I have dense tissue and my screens are hard to read. This particular time I was called into the reading room to go over my scans. Dr Matson noticed a cluster of calcification on my scan. He said he was not comfortable with it and recommended a biopsy or if I was not comfortable, could come back for another scan in 6 months. He just didn't like the way it looked. I took his experience and went with the biopsy immediately. Even the radiologist doing the biopsy said he would have never ordered the biopsy, it would be fine. It was not, it was cancer and because of Dr Matson's experience and intuition, mine was caught at stage 1. I am forever grateful for his guidance and compassion when going over my scans. I try to always have him in office when I am scheduled, I trust him 100%.

Hello, I was there supposedly for a memogram, mamogram was chosen by my Doctor because of a large lump on my breast despite my age of 32. Instead i was given an ultra sound then a Dr. A. Matson came in looked at the ultra sound few clicks not even for 1 mniute tells me this multliple lumps on my breast is normal. Even with the one on the right the size of 3x5 cm he said thats normal too and that he tells my husband hes a breast specialist. Not only is he falsely representing himself as breast specialist he is recklessly calling my huge and painful tumors NORMAL what kind of negligent care is this?? Is this how those 34 year olds are dying of breast cancer? Because a healthcare instituions thats suppose to be trusted by the community has Doctors that dismiss their breast issues normal? He then told me I dont need the mamogram that I was scheduled and pre-approved to have because of hea Ego. I will not die of breast can er because of your Doctors ego. I dont know how many young women… has died because of his misrepresentation and his wrong diagnosis. After 1 minute he calls my large swollen lump normal!
