I have been a surgical patient of Dr Meinke four times: gall bladder removal, repair of right inguinal hernia, repair of left inguinal hernia, and repair of ventral hernia (you might call me a professional patient). All four surgeries had NO complications and recoveries were essentially pain free - the most pain reliever I ever took after his surgery was tylenol, aleve. or aspirin (and at most once).

My experience a few years ago with Dr. Meinke was very good. He operated and solved my problem and was pleasant to deal with, caring, and followed up appropriately. I would highly recommend him and if I ever have another problem that requires surgery I will go back to him.

Dr. Meinke has a wealth of applicable surgical experience that allows him to perform operations is an accurate and proficient fashion. He's been around the block and nothing in the OR is likely to surprise him. I love that he's not over-reactionary or dramatic when speaking with patients. He's always calm and caring and funny in a self-deprecating way. He relates well to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Dr. Meinke answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease for my two surgeries.

Dr. Meinke ordered two medications for me while I was in the hospital, that I am allergic to.Forgot to inform me to take anti-inflammatory, post-op, which would have lessened my pain considerably.
