Dr. Moore was born in Kingsville, Texas and raised in Austin.  He attended the University of Texas on a football scholarship, graduating with a degree in microbiology. After a year of graduate research on cholera, Dr. Moore attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, graduating early on 17 February 1978. He began practicing dentistry at his current location on 20 February 1978. Â
Knowing that education is the key to success, Dr. Moore pursued post doctoral continuing education. This resulted in his being awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1985.  He continued his education with hands-on course work and was awarded the prestigious award of Master in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996. Since receiving this honor, Dr Moore has continued to pursue continuing education in various disciplines of dentistry which include cosmetics, orthodontics, surgery, implantology and field trauma management.Â
Dr Moore is an active US Army …Reserve officer, having served the US forces on 5 continents. He has served 2 tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom, the most recent in 2007.
